Fish Oil Benefits
I am a 58 year old woman who will be the first person to admit I am not a big fan of medications. I believe, as a society, we are seriously overmedicated. It starts small with a prescription or two and then ends up with any number of prescriptions to offset the side effects of the original prescriptions. It bothers me a lot to see the endless stream of TV ads suggesting you ask your Doctor if (fill in the blank here) is right for you. I think if my Doctor isn’t intelligent enough to figure out what prescription to give me when he/she feels it is appropriate, then I need to find a new Doctor.
Fish Oil Benefits for Eyes
I suffer from chronic dry eye. My dry eyes were keeping me up at night and making it difficult for me to read or work on the computer. I couldn’t go outside when it was windy because the eye pain was agonizing. I started seeing a new eye doctor who suggested trying fish oil with Omega 3s. He told me it might help my eyes but if it didn’t, it would still be good for my heart. I wasn’t expecting much but decided it was worth a try since my other option was starting a prescription.
I can’t tell you what a huge improvement it made to take the fish oil with Omega 3s. Within a few days, I noticed my dry eyes were hurting less. Within a few weeks, I went from using eye drops five or six times a night (and as many times during the day) to occasional use. I now go days without having to use any eye drops. I have also noticed my skin is softer and less dry. Fish Oil benefits have been great for me. Fish Oil Benefits include more Telomeres.
Fish Oil Benefits Are a Plus
The side effects of fish oil with Omega 3s all seem to be positive for me. It seems to help improve my mood on dark, wintery Seattle days. I would expect most people would experience fish oil benefits just as I have since our modern diet does not seem to meet the need for Omega 3 fatty acids. Everyone who tries them can experience Fish Oil Benefits.
