I refrigerate my supply to keep them as fresh as possible as advised by Dr. Oz.
One of the first things I noticed after taking fish oil supplements for a short time was that my scalp healed up. I used to have a very itchy scalp, so much in fact that open sores would develop. It was embarrassing to get a haircut. My stylist would always say, you have a sore on your head. You should just put a little Neosporin on it and it will be fine. I tried that without much success. After awhile I began going to different places to get a haircut. I have not had an itchy scalp or open sore on my head since shortly after starting my daily fish oil regimen.
I live in a mosquito free area but I remember living in the Midwest and being literally eaten up by mosquitoes. On my first trip back to the Midwest in the summer months I had forgotten all about mosquitoes and we went out for a walk. No one reminded me to spray on insect repellant. There were about 4 of us walking and I was the only one who was not bothered by mosquitoes.
